Following other recent senior appointments, Midlands based wealth manager BRI has just announced another high level hire as part of its strategic growth plan.

BIndustry veteran Vince Hopkins has joined the senior management team to help lead the next phase of growth for the Meriden based independent wealth management company. Hopkins joins BRI in the latest move of his highly successful career of over 25 years in the stockbroking and investment management industry.

Before his move to BRI, Hopkins headed the Birmingham offices of Albert E Sharp, Capel Cure Sharp and Gerrard prior to leading the development of Private Banking operations for Barclays Wealth in Bristol and the South West where he was also appointed national Head of Charities. However, Hopkins says that his roots are still very firmly in the Birmingham business community hence his move to BRI.

Speaking after his appointment Vince said “I am delighted to join the BRI team where the whole focus is on delivering an individual and very personal service to clients. Working closely with other professionals, I have helped grow many organisations over the years and we will do this again at BRI through both organic and acquired growth. I have a mandate to recruit at all levels but will not compromise on quality; we are only interested to hire the best people who will fit in with BRI’s client focused approach.”

BRI’s Joint Chief Executive, Paul Cusack, added “Vince’s appointment really underlines our ambition to invest and grow. It is the start of a new phase for BRI and continues our commitment to the very personal and tailored service we give our clients.”

BRI Asset Management is a leading independent wealth management company with nearly 45 years’ experience in providing discretionary and advisory portfolio management services for private investors, family trusts, charities, pension schemes and financial institutions.
