Dan Boardman-Weston appointed CEO at BRI Wealth Management
BRI Wealth Management plc has announced that Dan Boardman-Weston is to become Chief Executive Officer, effective as of 1st April 2022, replacing Simon Boardman-Weston who moves to Executive Chairman.
Simon has overseen the significant growth and development of BRI while at the same time implementing a strong and robust management team. The board has promoted an inclusive and healthy culture, investing in skills and talent, and pursuing strategies that put clients and employees at the heart of all decisions. Long-term sustainable growth matters more to the company than short-term financial performance.
Simon Boardman-Weston, Executive Chairman commented: “I’m delighted to announce that Dan will succeed me as CEO. Dan has played an integral role on the board and management team, helping us to become the successful firm we are today. BRI’s management team is now one of the best I have had the privilege to work with and through them, the business is in excellent hands. Dan will also maintain his responsibilities as Chief Investment Officer, where he has excelled, and I am excited to see him lead the firm into the next stage of growth.
“I plan to remain involved in the day to day running of the business, taking on the role of Executive Chairman. For the last few years, that job has been done in an exemplary manner by Dean Wragg, who has combined it with his numerous other responsibilities and will continue to be an important part of the company’s future.”
Dan Boardman-Weston, CEO at BRI Wealth Management, said: “BRI is known for its professional, personal and friendly service and I am incredibly proud of BRI’s core values. It is therefore an honour to be appointed CEO at BRI. My father has led the business to where it is today and cemented the firm’s reputation as one of the best wealth management firms around. I am focussed and determined to lead the company through some very exciting years ahead.”
BRI provides advice on a range of areas including investment management, financial planning, ISAs, pensions, inheritance tax planning and tax relieved investments. The firm’s qualified wealth managers and investment team work side by side to offer highly bespoke services tailored to clients’ specific needs, typically private clients, charities, trusts, intermediaries and corporations. BRI aims to be the leading independent regional Wealth Manager, building strong relationships with clients, and looking after their wealth for several generations.
