Ian joined the Financial Planning Department as a Paraplanner in June 2021. Prior to joining BRI, he has accumulated over 21 years of experience in similar paraplanning roles for differing sized firms across the Midlands. Prior to working in the financial services industry, Ian obtained under-graduate and post-graduate law degrees from Anglia Ruskin University. In addition to these, Ian holds the CII Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and has his Chartered accreditation.

Outside of work

Do you support any clubs/teams? Who and why?
Manchester United, not from Manchester or generations of United fans, but aged 6 I loved the colour red, and they wore red shirts in the 1977 FA Cup Final. Stuck with them ever since.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you travel to, and why?
Dornoch, in the Scottish Highlands. It has the most beautiful coastline in the UK and it would give me a chance to visit my daughter who studies there.
