Dean Wragg

Dean joined BRI in 1995 and was appointed to the board as Compliance Director in 2001 and gained the role of Chief Operating Officer some years later. Dean has worked within the financial services industry since 1986 and has a broad knowledge and understanding of stockbroking, investment management and financial planning. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds the Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.

Outside of work

Do you support any clubs/teams? Who and why?
I’m a big cricket fan, so I’d like to do more cricket tours with the Barmy Army to places like Australia and South Africa.

Why and how did you get into financial services?
My brother was (and still is) a stockbroker in Birmingham. He got me a job as an office junior at a firm of stockbrokers, and that was the start of my career in financial services.
